It’s A Hold-up! Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad Presents “The Wild West Train!”
Chama, NM-Antonito, CO-- Take a ride into the Wild West on board the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. Step back into the days of the wild and wooly Old West on board the railroad’s Saturday Rocky Mountain Specials! Wild West Trains are set for June 26, July 31 and August 28, 2010 and will take her riders on a ‘Wild West Train Ride Extravaganza’ inclusive of robbers and “action” galore!
The Wild West Trains will depart Chama, New Mexico at 11 AM on the fourth Saturday in June, July and August with a scenic ride up to Cumbres Peak (10,015 feet altitude). But don’t get too relaxed, because you just never know when some Wild West action might happen. …why an on-board train robbery is not even out of the question on this special action-packed train ride! The Wild West Train will stop for lunch up at Cumbres Pass. Following lunch and entertainment, riders will re-board the Train and return back to Chama by 3:00 PM. The cost of the trip is $79 for Adults $ 55.50 for Youth (13-18 years) and $39 for Children (2-12 years)
Don’t delay; mark your calendar for one of these special Saturdays –June 26th, July 31st or August 28th. It’s time to Climb Aboard Rocky Mountain history, scenery and machinery and look back over 125 years of railroading. This is the Old West, the way it really was! Book your seat now on The Wild West Train. This trip is sure to delight cowgirls and cowboys of all ages …but bad guys beware! There’s no place on this train for outlaws…guaranteed!
